On the morning of July 7, after returning from New York, nanako and Black Nanako found that a package addressed to them had been delivered to their home. But when it was opened, they discovered two knives wrapped in red paper! Their mom happened to open the package first, screamed in shock, and reportedly collapsed.

Their dad, who works for a foreign-owned company in Yokohama, wanted to call the police immediately… but couldn’t, because he was in the middle of an executive board meeting. Nanako and her sister searched online and found that this appeared to be a classic “death threat.” Terrified, the two girls were left trembling with fear…

…Or so it seemed.

Instead, Black Nanako became fascinated by the design of the knives and said, “I’m gonna turn these into my cute new weapons. 💜” Meanwhile, her older sister nanako commented, “These could work great as meat-cutting knives. ♡” and started thinking about how they could be put to use in the kitchen.
