Hi girls! Here’s the latest from Luna. 恋 koi is currently shifting from an alternative J-POP band to an alternative grunge-punk style, and apparently, vocalist Mana started smoking because she wanted “a slightly more mature voice.”

They originally started as a punk band, but after a senior in their college club advised them to go for a “calculated (Azatoi)” romance-themed J-POP style, they adopted their current sound. Now that it’s been almost a full year since their debut and they’ve released a best-of album, it seems they want to challenge themselves in a new genre.

Hmm, well… she seems like a bit of a bad girl, doesn’t she? lol

In our private chat room, where girl talk flies back and forth, quite a few surprising details about Mana’s secret love life have been coming out—but it’s No Boys Allowed, and only a select few of us from the founding year—like me, Luna, nocco, nanako, and..are in on it! Stuff like nanako’s abnormal stories, or nocco’s days as a smoker…
